Discover the Hidden Depths of Local Japan — Beyond the Guidebooks

Encounter authentic local towns in Japan that cannot be found in guidebooks.

DEEPDIVE provides unique local experience programs designed for international guests who want to go beyond ordinary tourism.
Through deep connections with our beloved hometowns, we offer opportunities to truly experience, learn from, and take something meaningful back with you.

Yokohama: Where Urban Culture Meets Local History

Located just a short distance from Tokyo, Yokohama is a distinctive port city where sophisticated urban culture blends with long-standing local traditions.
It is also known as a creative hub for circular economy, sustainability, and social innovation, attracting practitioners and thinkers from diverse fields.

Explore Yokohama and Its Neighboring Towns

What we offer can only be provided by people who live in and deeply understand the local communities.
With DEEPDIVE, you will encounter the true “depth” of Yokohama and its neighboring towns such as Kamakura and Kawasaki, guided by locals who know the people, places, and stories behind the scenes.

Programs Designed Around Your Interests

Our programs connect you with local people you want to meet and themes you want to explore, including:

  • Society and sustainability

  • Local food culture and everyday lifestyle

  • Wellness and care practices

  • Art, culture, and creative activities

  • Education and social change

  • Local practice-based economy and business

  • Traditions, rituals, and festivals

Each experience is carefully designed to reflect real-life practices rooted in the community.

Experience Through Dialogue, Not Just Sightseeing

We believe that meaningful travel is created not only by seeing, but also by listening, talking, feeling, and thinking together.
Through dialogue with locals who live and breathe the land, and by visiting small yet powerful places where ideas are actively practiced, you will gain insights for co-creation and shared visions of the future built through repeated empathy.

For Individuals, Schools, and Organizations

Our programs welcome:

  • Individuals seeking authentic and immersive experiences in Japan

  • Educational institutions for study tours, fieldwork, and learning programs

  • Companies and organizations for research, inspection, and inspiration
